Barry Harris

Barry Harris was the first club DJ in the world to write, produce and perform a Top 40 hit; “I Beg Your Pardon” by his debut act Kon Kan. “I Beg Your Pardon”, became an international Top 5 hit around the world, garnering a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Best Dance Recording in 1990.

In 1998 Barry relocated to Los Angeles to mastermind the remix team Thunderpuss producing more than 40 #1 Billboard Dance remixes including hits for major label recording artists Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion & Donna Summer to name a few.

Barry is best known for Whitney Houston’s Top 5 global hit, “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” which remains in steady rotation today as well as "Dive In The Pool (Let's Get Soakin' Wet). Also winner of 2 IDMA Awards best remixer of the year at WMC and another IDMA Award for Best Underground Dance Record of the Year.

He continues to tour the U.S. and will be lending his legendary DJ skills to events in Washington, Los Angeles, Boston, New Orleans, San Francisco, San Diego in 2017. Lot's more to come!
